TF: Boston North End

Pooh and I next ventured down to the North End, ( a kind of Little Italy section of town) this was more for me than it was for Pooh. We stopped at my favorite place in the whole North End (and there are a ton of great places), Mike's Pastry. No it's not my favorite because Mike is my husband's name, but they have THE best pastries in town. Pooh and I looked and looked until we decided to share a piece of Boston Cream Pie. Of course I was a little mad at Pooh because he didn't help me eat that cake at all, I had to eat the whole piece by myself....Oh well c'est la vie. We then walked over to the Old North Church...WARNING WARNING historical facts ahead...This is where the saying "One if by land and two if by sea" The lanterns were hung in the steeple to signal that the British were invading by sea. We met a very nice man from Somerset, England, who wished us a very nice adventure.
