TF: Quincy Market, Boston

Pooh and I took the long walk from Quincy Market and the North End to Boston Common (the oldest park in the country) we had a lovely stroll through the Common and to the Public Garden which was founded in 1837. As you can see we stopped and smelled the roses along the way.

We met this very nice Boston Police Officer (we didn't get his name) and his horse Shorty and he was gracious enough to let Pooh climb up and take a picture with him. for a quick rest.

We then walked over to the "Make Way For Ducklings" sculpture in the garden. Pooh really liked sitting on Mama Duck and taking a rest. We had a long walk ahead.

Oh goodness did the kids love this one! We read the book quite often so they recognized it immediately!

"An education isn't how much you have committed to memory, or even how much you know. It's being able to differentiate between what you know and what you don't." -- Anatole France
"I am beginning to suspect all elaborate and special systems of education. They seem to me to be built up on the supposition that every child is a kind of idiot who must be taught to think." -- Anne Sullivan
