TF: Boston

This is Pooh checking out the State House a we walked through the Common on our way back to get the train home. The photo below is of the famous "Duck Tours" that travel throughout the city. The "boats" are World War II amphibious vehicles that have become one of the cities most popular tourist attractions. They are also the vehicles that have been used, alot lately, to transport our CHAMPIONSHIP TEAMS throughout the city for our rolling rally to celebrate the World Champion Red Sox, Celtics, and Patriots. The poor Bruins haven't had that privelage...yet.

The Union Oyster house is another landmark for the city, alot of people who come to Boston want to eat at the Oyster House. There is even a booth with a plaque that is where John F. Kennedy(35th President of the United States) dined. I have actually had the privelage of sitting in this booth myself.

And this is Pooh with a colonial soldier outside the Bell in Hand Tavern established in 1795 by Jimmy Wilson, Boston's last known town crier. It is the oldest continuously operated tavern. Pooh thought we should head for home, we had a very busy day today...But boy was it FUN!!!!
