Things kids say

Dani: "I can't do that, I can't figure it out" [referring to the puzzle sticks Maisie was playing with]

"Good Job!"

I love when my kids say "good job" to each other. Maisie was finishing a puzzle and said "I fit the last two pieces!" and Dani said, "good job!" When Dani was potty training and would go potty, Maisie would say "Good job Dani!" It makes my heart smile :)

Funny things kids say...

I was washing and cutting strawberries for the girls today when Dani said,

"Mommy, did you wash your hands?"

I said "Yes, honey, of course!"

Then she said,

"Okay mommy, don't cut your hand! Be careful!"

I love hearing such things from a 3 year old!




On another note, my girls have really gotten into creative play, especially with their dolls. I was so proud of them the other day when I overheard them saying things like "okay, sweetheart, it's time for bed. Good night." I call the girls sweetheart all the time...it was so sweet to hear them saying it to their baby dolls.

They are also developing their entrepreneurial spirit--they had a garage sale in the family room the other day. According to Maisie, they made $40!
